GULF SCAMP

Built in 1989, by the Southland Welding Company of Morgan City, Louisiana as the Gulf Scamp for Zapata Gulf Marine Services Incorporated of Houston, Texas.

In 1992, Zapata Gulf Marine Incorporated merged with Tidewater Marine Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1994, the tug was acquired by Odyssea Vessels Incorporated of Berwick, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Miss Michelle.

In 2004, she was acquried by Seafarer Boat Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Gulf Scamp.

In 2007, the tug went out of documentation. Her current, and or final disposition is unknown.
