Built in 1976, by Balehi Marine Incorporated of Lacombe, Louisiana (hull #1) as the Michelle Bourg for the RLB Boat Company of Harvey, Louisiana.
The tug was later sold, where she was renamed as the Heather Lynne.
She was then acquired by Double Eagle Marine Incorporated of New Iberia, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Swamp Eagle.
In 2004, the tug was acquired by the Delta Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Delta Dove.
In 2011, she was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2011, the tug went out of documentation. Her current, and or final disposition is unknown.
She was powered by two, GM 12V71 diesel engines. With Twin Disc 514 TD reduction gears, at a ratio of 4.5:1. Turning two, 48(in) by 44(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She was a twin screw tug, rated 900 horsepower.
Her electrical service was provided by two, 20kW generator sets. Driven by two, GM 2-71 diesel engines. The tug's capacities were 8,000 gallons of fuel oil, 3,000 gallons of potable water, and 110 gallons of lube oil.
The towing equipment consisted of a single drum, 20 ton, Parker towing winch.
