Built in 1979, by DH and D Iron Works Incorporated of LaRose, Louisiana (hull #4) as the Andrea for B and R Boats Incorporated of Taylorville, Illinois.

In 1979, the tug was acquired by A.T. Cheramie Incorporated of New Orelans, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Chester Cheramie.

In 1992, she was acquired by the Inland Marine Management Corporation of Galliano, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Marine Compass.

In 1995, the tug was acquired by Allied Towing Services Incorporated of Venice, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Big Daddy.

In 1997, the tug was acquired by Double Eagle Marine Incorporated of New Iberia, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Eastern Eagle.

In 2002, she was acquired by the Delta Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Delta Sparrow.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 2012, she was acquired by J. Sercovich Incorporated of Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, GM 12V71 diesel engines. With Twin Disc MG-514 reduction gears, at a ratio of 5:1. Turning two, 50(in) by 54(in) by 4(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug rated at 900 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 30kW generator sets. Driven by two, GM 3-71 diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 16,441 gallons of fuel, 9,000 gallons of potable water, and 143 gallons of lube oil.
