Built in 1999, by Fitzgerald Marine Fabrication of Fairhaven, Massachusetts as the Grizzly for Coastal Marine Construction Incorporated of Canton, Massachusetts.
The tug was later acquired by 41 North Offshore LLC of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Where she retained her name.
Powered by two, Detroit Diesel 6-71 diesel engines. With Twin Disc MG-509 reduction gears, at 2.95:1. Turning two, 34(in) by 30(in), four bladed, bronze, fixed pitch propellers. For a rated 440 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by 2kW, generator set. Driven by a single Honda GX100 diesel engine. The tug's capacities are 1,000 gallons fuel capacity, 35 gallons of lube oil, 35 gallons of hydraulic oil.
The towing equipment consists of two, Pullmaster PL-4, facing winches. Outfitted with 100(ft) of 0.50(in), 6 by 26 wire rope.
