MAGGIE

Built in 1956, by the Gulfport Shipbuilding Corporation at Port Arthur, Texas (hull #493) as the Pike for the G and H Towing Company of Houston, Texas.

The G and H Towing Company was an operating company based in Houston, Texas. Established by the Suderman and Young Towing Company of Houston, Texas. And the Bay Houston Towing Company of Houston, Texas.

In 1988, the tug was acquired by Bay and Delta Maritime Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California. Where she was renamed as the Maggie.

In 2005, Bay and Delta Maritime Services Incorporated renamed the tug as the Delta Cathryn.

In 2009 the tug was acquired by Porteadores Del Noroeste of Porteadores, Mexico. Where she was renamed as the Ponosa IV.

In 1988, she was re powered with a single, EMD 20-645 diesel engine. She was a single screw tug rated at 3,600 horsepower.
