Built in 1981, by the Cenac Shipyard Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #44) as the Justin Cenac for the Cenac Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana.
In 2008, the tug was acquired by Teppco Marine Services Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2009, she was acquired by Enterprise Marine Services Incorporated of San Antonio, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Justin.
In 2015, the tug was acquired by Skiffs Creek Towing Incorporated of Yorktown, Virginia. Where she retained her name.
Powered by two, Cummins KTA-19 diesel engines. With Twin Disc MG 520 reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.1:1. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 1,160 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 40kW generator sets. The tug's capacities are 15,000 gallons of fuel, 250 gallons of lube oil, and 8,000 gallons of water.
The towing equipment consists of a single drum towing winch, outfitted with 1,200(ft), 1.5(in) towing cable.
