Built in 2011, by Raymond and Associates Incorporated of Bayou LaBatre, Alabama (hull #447) as the Miss Ann for Greater New York Marine Transportation Incorporated of Syossett, New York.

In 2012, the tug was acquired by Settoon Marine Incorporated of Pierre Part, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Ryan L. Settoon.

In 2017, the tug was acquired by Savage Marine Services Incorporated of Salt Lake City, Utah. Where she was renamed as the Savage Guardian.

In 2020, Savage Marine Services Incorporated was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Connie Jean.

Powered by two, Cummins KTA38-M2 II diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 7:1. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 2,000 horsepower.
