Built in 1995, by the Cenac Shipyard Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #14) as the Brandon Cenac for the Cenac Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana.

In 2004, the tug was acquired by Settoon Towing Incorporated of Pierre Part, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Kenneth S. Settoon.

Powered by two, Cummins KT-19 diesel engines. With Twin Disc MG 514 reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.16:1. Turning two, 52(in) by 48 (in), five bladed, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 900 horsepower.
