NOBIE M. SETTOON

Built in 1992, by the Cenac Shipyard Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #50) as the Nan Cenac for the Cenac Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana.

In 2000, the tug was acquired by Settoon Towing Incorporated of Pierre Part, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Austin Charles Settoon.

In 2009, Settoon Towing Incorporated renamed the tug as the Nobie M. Settoon.

Powered by two, Cummins KTA-19 diesel engines. With Twin Disc MG 518 reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.92:1. Turning two, 56(in) by 50(in), five bladed, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 600 horsepower.
