Built in 2001, by CTCO Shipbuilding Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #411) as the Nathan P. Cenac for the Cenac Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana.
In 2008, the tug was acquired by Teppco Marine Services Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.
In 2009, she was acquired by Enterprise Marine Services Incorporated of San Antonio, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Nathan P.
Powered by two, Cummins KTA38-M1 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.3:1. Turning three, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers, in kort nozzles. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 2,400 horsepower.
