Built in 1981, by St. Charles Steel Company Incorporated of Thibodaux, Louisiana (hull #87) as the Logan J.
In 1982, the tug was acquired by American Offshore Incorporated of St. Louis, Missouri. Where she was renamed as the American Glory.
The tug was later sold and renamed as the Marine Glory.
She was later sold and renamed as the Jennifer C.
In 1995, she was acquired by Vane Brothers of Baltimore, Maryland where she was renamed as the Vane Brothers.
The tug was outfitted with an upper wheel house. And, was the first tug for the Vane Brothers Company to be fitted with kort nozzles.
In 2004, she was completely refurbished. Her main engines were overhauled, and her towing machine engine was replaced.
In 2017, the tug was acquired by Weeks Marine Incorporated of Cranford, New Jersey. Where she was renamed as the Seeley.
Powered by two, Cummins KTA 38 diesel engines. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 1,800 horsepower.
