Built in 1975, by F.B. Walker and Sons Incorporated of Pascagoula, Mississippi (hull #197) as the Lucky Louie for the West Delta Construction Company of Pascagoula, Mississippi.
In 1977, the tug was sold. Where she was renamed as the Miss D.
In 1979, she was sold. And, was renamed as the Lady Audrey.
In 1984, the tug was sold. Where she was renamed as the Miss Leah.
In 1990, she was acquired by the LeBeouf Brothers Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Medicine Bow.
Re powered in 2007, she is driven by two, Cummins KTA19-M3 diesel engines. With Twin Disc MG520 reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.96:1. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 640 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, John Deere 4045TF270 generator sets. The tug's capacities are 24,000 gallons of fuel, 200 of lube oil, 200 gallons of hydraulic oil, 500 gallons of slop oil, and 10,000 gallons of water.
