Built in 1974, by the Scully Brothers Boat Builders Incorporated of Stephensville, Louisiana as the Miss Rita for the Gateway Barge Line Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana.

The tug was later acquired by the LeBeouf Brothers Towing Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed the the Creole Belle.

In 2017, she was acquired by the Myrick Marine Contracting Corporation of Savannah, Georgia. Where the tug was renamed the Grace Myrick.

Powered by two, Detroit Diesel 12V71 diesel engines. With Twin Disc 514 reduction gears, at a ratio of 6:1. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 800 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 30kW, E7191-371 generator sets. The tug's capacities are 9,000 gallons of fuel, 110 gallons of lube oil, and 3,000 gallons of water.
