Built in 1983, by the Blount Marine Corporation of Warren, Rhode Island (hull #350) as the Gunny for the GCDC Corporation of Bayside, New York.
In 2005, the tug was acquired by the Sterling Equipment Company of Quincy, Massachusetts. Where she was renamed as the Miss Kim.
In 2008, she was acquired by Daigle Towing Services Incorporated of Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Mason Ray.
In 2011, the tug was acquired by Double Eagle Marine Incorporated of New Iberia, Louisiana. Where she was reamed as the Bayou Eagle.
In 2012, the tug was acquired by IntraTug (the Intracoastal Tug and Barge Company) of Maurice, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the DMO Resolve.
In 2017, the tug was acquired by the Myrick Marine Contracting Corporation of Savannah, Georgia. Where she was renamed the James Myrick.
In 2019, she was acquired by Brewster Marine Incorporated of Forked River, New Jersey. Where the tug was renamed as the William Brewster.
Powered by two, Caterpillar C18 diesel engines. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 1,200 horsepower.
