Founded by Jakob Van Reenen, and headquartered in Clayton, New York. The Seaway Marine Group is a family owned company that provides a wide range of marine based services throughout the St. Lawrence River, Lake Ontario, upstate New York, and beyond.

The company serves public, commercial, and residential clients. These services include tug and barge support, dredging, seawalls and shoreline protection, sheet piling, dock building, rock drilling, boat lifts, barge service, and marine transportation.

Seaway Marine Group LLC. is owned and operated by Jakob Van Reenen a Coast Guard Licensed Master of Towing Vessels. And, Jennifer Van Reenen, a Coast Guard Licensed Mastter. And New York licensed attorney, has a certificate in Maritime Law and Contracts from Lloyds of London. She also has a PhD, and a Masters in Law.
