In 1965, the tug was transferred to the United States Navy. Where the tug was renamed as the LT-65 (Portsmouth Lady).

In 2022, she was acquired by the Seaway Marine Group LLC. of Clayton, New York. Where the was renamed as the Seaway Joan.

Powered by a single, Detriot Diesel 6-71 diesel engine. With Twin Disc M6001DC reduction gear at ratio of 4.5:1. She is a single screw tug, rated at 200 horsepower.
