Built in 1985, by the Aiple Marine Company of Stillwater, Minnesota (hull #26) as the Mary Keasler for Keasler Incorporated of Cleveland, Tennessee.

In 1985, the tug was acquired by River Fleets Incorporated of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Mary Ann II.

In 2012, she was acquired by American Tugs Incorporated of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Where the tug was rebuilt, and renamed as the Pedrito.

She is a twin screw tug, rated at 3,000 horsepower.
