EVENING TIDE

Built in 1970, by New Iberia Shipbuilding Incorporated of New Iberia, Louisiana (hull #109) as the tug Captain George Edwards for the Edwards Towing Company Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana.

In 1973, the tug was acquired by the Bouchard Transportation Company of Melville, New York. Where she was renamed as the Evening Tide.

In 2020, the tug was phased out of active service and was "laid up" at Staten Island, New York.

In 2021, she was acquired by Stasinos Marine LLC. of Weymouth, Massachusetts. Where the tug retained her name. And she was "laid up" at Fall River, Massachusetts.

Powered by two, EMD diesel engines. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated rated 3,900 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 100kW generator sets. The tug's capacities are 51,777 gallons of fuel.
