Built in 1999, by Moss Point Marine Incorporated of Escatawpa, Mississippi (hull #156) as the Brendan J. Bouchard for the Bouchard Transportation Company of Melville, New York.

In 2020, the tug was placed out of service and was "laid up" at New Orleans, Louisiana.

In 2021, she was acquired by Rose Cay Maritime LLC. of Houston, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Cindy Rose.

In 2022, she was "laid up" at New Orleans, Louisiana.

The tug is fitted with an INTERcon coupler system. Although she was fitted with a coupler system, she is also outfitted with traditional towing gear.

Powered by two, EMD 16-645-F7B diesel engines. Turning two, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 6,140 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by three 99kW generator sets. The tug's capacities are 134,199 gallons of fuel, and 8,453 gallons of potable water.
