Built in 2010, by the Eastern Shipbuilding Group of Panama City, Florida (hull #143) as the Mary Roberts for Florida Marine Transportation of Mandeville, Louisiana.

In 2013, the tug was acquired by Martin Midstream Partnership Incorporated of Vidor, Texas. Where she retained her name.

Powered by two, Caterpillar 3512 B diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.4:1. She is twin screw towboat, rated at 2,600 horsepower.
