GARY HAAS

Built in 1981, by Fisherman Marine Shipyard Incorporated of Bayou La Batre, Alabama (hull #10) as the Inland Tug IV for Gulf Towing and Transportation Incorporated of Panama City, Florida.

In 1984, the tug was acquired by Georgia Transporters Incorporated of Panama City, Florida. Where she was renamed as the Old Bear.

In 1990, she was acquired by the Ingram Towing Company of Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Gary Haas.

In 1994, the tug was acquired by Coastal Towing Incorporated of Houston, Texas. Where she was renamed as the David Walke.

In 1995, she was acquired by the Carline Companies of Gonzales, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the CSS Louisiana.

In 2008, the tug was acquired by Magnolia Fleet Incorporated of Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Louisiana.

Repowered in 1997, she is powered by two Cummins KTA38-MO diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 7:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,700 horsepower.
