Built in 1981, by LaForce Shipyard Incorporated of Bayou La Batre, Alabama (hull #102) as the Custom Fueler for Custom Fuel Services Incorporated of St. Rose, Louisiana.
In 1992, the tug was acquired by the Ingram Barge Company of Nashville, Tennessee. Where she was renamed as the Dick Tomayko.
Repowered in 2001, she is driven by two Cummins KTA19-M1 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 7:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,200 horsepower.
