In 1985, she was acquired by Cherokee Marine Incorporated of Nashville, Tennessee. Where the tug was renamed as the David K.

In 1992, the tug was acquired by the Ingram Barge Company of Nashville, Tennessee. Where she was renamed as the David K. Wilson.
