Built in 1975, by the Grafton Boat Company of Grafton, Illinois (hull #593 / 80) as the Bill Froreich for American Commercial Barge Line Incorporated of Jeffersonville, Indiana.
In 1998, the tug was acquired by Deloach Marine Service Incorporated of Port Allen, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.
In 1999, Deloach Marine Service Incorporated renamed the tug as the Zeland M. Deloach Jr.
In 2007, the tug was acquired by the Ingram Barge Company of Nashville, Tennessee. Where she retained her name.
In 2022, she was acquired by the Intracoastal Tug and Barge Company of Lafayette, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Renegade.
Rebuilt and repowered in 1999, she is driven by Cummins KTA38-M0 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio 7:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,700 horsepower.
