LES GRIMM

Built in 1975, by Halter Marine Services Incorporated of Lockport, Louisiana (hull #506) as the Mobil Legend for the Mobil Oil Corporation of New York, New York.

In 1988, the tug was acquired by the Mid-South Towing Company of Metropolis, Illinois. Where the tug was renamed as the Anne B.

In 2002, the Mid-South Towing Company became the TECO Barge Line Incorporated Metropolis, Illinois. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2012, she was acquired by the Ingram Barge Company of Nashville, Tennessee. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2014, the Ingram Barge Company renamed the tug as the Les Grimm.

Powered by two, GM 12-645E7B diesel engines. With Reintjes reduction gears, at a ratio of 4.5:1. Turning two, fixed pitch propellers mounted in kort nozzles. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 4,560 horsepower.
