Built in 1980, by Master Marine Incorporated of Bayou La Batre, Alabama (hull #208) as the Ted Eymard Jr. for the Louis Eymard Towing Company Incorporated of Marrero, Louisiana.

In 1985, the tug was acquired by MPH Incorporated of Channelview, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Big Bob.

In 1987, she was acquired by the Businelle Towing Corporation of Plaquemine, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Kathleen II.

In 1993, the tug was acquired by the Ingram Barge Company of Nashville, Tennessee. Where she was renamed as the Ace G.

Re powered in 2011, she is driven by two, Cummins KTA19-M3 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.25:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,200 horsepower.
