Built in 2003, by Chuck's Boat and Drive Company of Longview, Washington (hull #19BB0205) as the 19BB0205 a Barrier Boat for the United States Navy.

The design was conceived for the commercial logging industry, primarily for moving and towing of log floats.

In 2025, the tug was acquired by Stasinos Marine LLC. of Weymouth, Massachusetts. Where she was renamed as Scuttles.

Originally powered by a single, Cummins 6BTA 5.9l diesel engine. Turning a single, steerable, fixed pitch porpeller, mounted in a 36(in) kort nozzle. She is a single screw tug, rated at 370 horsepower.

The towing equipment consists of two, Pullmaster PL5 face winches. Outfitted with 1(in) spectra line.
