Built in 1979, by Janoush Marine Incorporated of Rosedale, Mississippi as the Buck Moore for Coastal Towing Incorporated of Houston, Texas.
In 1979, Coastal Towing Incorporated renamed the tug as the Ginger Griffin.
In 1989, the tug was acquired by the Ingram Barge Company of Nashville, Tennessee. Where she was renamed as the Maryanne S. Davidson.
In 1994, she was acquired by Coastal Towing Incorporated of Houston, Texas. Where the tug was renamed the Meagan New.
In 2002, the tug was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Capt. Bill Ikner.
In 2018, she was acquired by McKees Rocks Industrial Enterprises of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. Where the tug was renamed as the the Cori Weiland.
Repowered in 2009, the she is powered by two, Cummins KTA38 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 7:1. The tug is a twin screw, towboat, rated at 1,700 horsepower.
