Built in 2008 by the John Bludworth Shipyard Incorporated of Corpus Christi, Texas (hull #123) as the Grace Nicole for Florida Marine Transporters Incorporated Mandeville, Louisiana.
In 2011, the tug was acquired by Genesis Marine Incorporated of Houston, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Bob Deere.
Originally powered by two, Caterpillar 3512B diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.4:1. For a rated 2,600 horsepower.
She was later re powered with two, Cummins QSK 38 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 7.22:1. Turning two, 82(in) by 69(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 2,600 horsepower.
