Built in 2008, by the Eastern Shipbuilding Group Incorporated of Panama City, Florida (hull #982) as the Bill Seymour for Florida Marine Transporters Incorporated of Mandeville, Louisiana.
In 2012, the tug was acquired by Genesis Marine Incorporated of Houston, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Dianne Chandler.
Powered by two, Cummins QSK 38 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 7.22:1. Turning two, 84(in) by 72(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers, with flanking rudders. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 2,600 horsepower.
