Founded in 1930, by the Luedtke Engineering Company was established when E.R. “Duke” Luedtke with the acquisition of his first vessel in 1930. And, focusing on projects on Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.

Based in Frankfort, Michigan the company services the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, governmental entities, public utility companies and private corporations.

In 2023, the company ceased operations and the assets were sold.
